Investor Information

Worio grew out of a collaboration between students and professors at the University of British Columbia (one of Worio's shareholders). From 2005-07, we conducted scientific research through grants from Canada's National Research Council and PRECARN (a Canadian organization specializing in grants for intelligent systems development). We have secured $3 million in Angel financing to develop a web-scale discovery engine using our proprietary technology.
